How do you get to, and around, the Isle of Arran?

Eastkirk holiday cottage in situated in Corrie on the Isle of Arran.

To get to Corrie from the mainland, you need to book the ferry from Ardrossan (North Ayrshire) to Brodick, the main village on the Isle of Arran. Your booking for this ferry must be made in advance and places get booked quickly.

Alternatively, you can travel on the ferry from Claonaig to Lochranza (in the north of the island), which is a first come, first served service.

For travel on the Island, please visit the local bus service website. There are also taxis available from the ferry terminal: Arran Taxi Company and Bay Garage.

 

Is this a self catering cottage?

Yes, all facilities are provided with a fully equipped kitchen, coffee cafetiere, including all crockery and cutlery, washing machine and tumble drier.

Do I need to bring towels and bed linen?

Bed linen, heated underblankets and towels are included in your rental. Please bring your own beach towels.

The property also offers oil-fired central heating.

How many guests can use the cottage?

Eastkirk can accommodate five people. There is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a sofa bed available in the lounge.

What's your pet policy?

Well behaved dogs are welcome, please drop us a line to discuss in the first instance.

How far is the cottage from the nearest town?

We are situated on the main A841 on the Isle of Arran and approximately a five minute walk to Corrie.

Do you provide WiFi and digital TV?

We provide free WiFi within the cottage and garden. The TV is set up with Freeview and for you to use your own accounts to login to Netflix and Amazon Prime.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is available from 3pm to 9pm.

Check-out by 10am.

Is the cottage suitable for children?

Due to the design of Eastkirk, the cottage is not suitable for children under the age of 12.

Is smoking allowed?

No smoking or vaping is allowed either in the property or in the gardens.
